As the year tumbles into it’s final weeks…
I’m feeling very grateful for my found family, lovers, and my friends old and new. Holidays can be really fucking difficult – end of sentence. Fortunately, I’ve had to opportunity to spend the end of this year with some truly incredible people. Thank you to everyone who taught me something new, organized get-togethers, sent gifts, and booked time with me. You’ve really warmed up this winter.
Catch me in Portland before I head out of town the second week of January – I’d love to start the new year off right. ✮

My gift to myself…
…was this very fun – and very loud – paddle from Redeemer Toys, that I picked up at SubRosa’s class on impact play. The upcycled toys Redeemer makes are so creative and cruel. I’m very excited to use it…any volunteers?
My favorite gift…
…is this amazing Panasonic Rx-ds650 boombox, along with the sublime night it provided the soundtrack to. I think the best part, however, was the playlist he burned for me (and had playing when I walked into the room). Truly, one of the sweetest and most thoughtful things to give a music lover. I can’t wait to revisit my tape collection.
